Alexei Nikolayevich Mironov ( Russian Алексей Николаевич Миронов * 25. March 1977 ) is a former Russian Cross Country - Sommerbiathlet .

Alexei Mironow had his best career year in 2004. At the 2004 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , he was initially sixth in the sprint. In the pursuit race based on it, he won the bronze medal behind Zdeněk Vítek and Sergei Balandin as well as behind Pavol Hurajt and Timur Nurmejew in the mass start race. With Nurmejew, Alexei Tscheparew and Balandin he was also runner-up in the relay race. He achieved similar successes at the first European Summer Biathlon Championships in 2004 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld . He won the silver medal behind Cheeparev in the sprint, but relegated him to second place in the pursuit race and became European champion. Also with the relay he was on the side of Oksana Neupokojewa , Lyubow Yermolajewa and Cheeparev European champion in the race with the mixed relay. While he was still the starting runner in the World Championship race, he was used as the final runner in the EM mixed. After that, he could no longer build on these successes internationally.
