Oksana Ivanovna Neupokoyeva

Oksana Ivanovna Neupokojewa ( Russian Оксана Ивановна Неупокоева ; born January 14, 1976 in the village of Stoiba, Krasnoyarsk Territory ) is a Russian biathlete .

Oksana Neupokoyeva's first start at a major event took place at the 2003 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Forni Avoltri , where the Russian won the silver medal with the relay. In 2002 she won silver again with the relay in Osrblie , also silver in the sprint behind Wolha Nasarawa and came fourth in the mass start and sixth in the pursuit.

In the winter biathlon Neupokoyeva was 31st in the singles at the 2004 European Championships in Minsk , and in 2005 she came 14th in Novosibirsk . In addition, she has competed in the European Biathlon Cup several times since 2005 and often achieved good placements. Neupokojewa has been competing in the biathlon world cup since the 2007/08 season . In the very first race she was 32nd in the individual and only missed her first points by two places. A little later she won first points as 15th in the Pokljuka sprint and also came in second with the Russian relay. At the World Cup in Pyeongchang Neupokojewa reached the top 10 for the first time with 6th place in the sprint and 8th place in the pursuit. At the 2008 World Championships , the Russian won bronze in the mixed relay.
