Alf Humphreys

Alfred E. "Alf" Humphreys (born April 3, 1953 in Toronto - † January 31, 2018 in Stratford , Ontario ) was a Canadian actor .

Career

Alf Humphreys was the oldest among his four brothers. During his time in the military, he worked as a tourist guide, where he discovered his love of acting. So, after he left the military, he went to the theater in North Bay , where he attracted attention and subsequently worked in television commercials.

There he also attracted attention and from 1980 he worked as a film and television actor, including in the horror film Bloody Valentine's Day (1981). He eventually played the role of Deputy Lester in the 1982 film Rambo , which opened more doors for him in the film business. He has also appeared in films such as X-Men 2 (2003) and The Curse of the 2 Sisters (2009), and has guest appearances on series such as Unknown Dimensions and Twilight Zone . He then ended his career in 2012. Finally, in 2017, he received the North Bay Musicians and Entertainers Hall of Recognition for his acting career .

He was married to Elizabeth Moss until his death and had one child with her. He died of cancer .
