Alfons Lauermann

Alfons Lauermann (born June 18, 1924 in Ettringen , Mayen district ; † December 23, 1991 in Andernach ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Lauermann first attended the elementary school in Ettringen and then the humanistic high schools in Essen and Koblenz . After being drafted into the Wehrmacht , he had to interrupt his school career. He took part in World War II as a soldier and was seriously wounded. In 1945 he became a French prisoner of war, from which he was released in 1947. He then continued his school education, which he completed in 1949 when he graduated from high school. He completed an apprenticeship as a banker from 1950 to 1952 and then worked until 1968 as an examination assistant and association auditor at the Raiffeisenverband Mittelrhein in Koblenz. From 1968 to 1974 he was first managing director, then administrative director of the Andernach Abbey Hospital. He was also chairman of the supervisory board of Raiffeisenkasse Eiche GmbH Andernach and a member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Andernach GmbH.

Lauermann joined the CDU in 1954. From 1954 to 1957 he was chairman of the CDU local association Ettringen and from 1955 to 1956 chairman of the district association of the Junge Union Mayen. In 1973 he was elected chairman of the CDU city association Andernach. From 1960 he belonged to the Andernach city council, from 1962 as chairman of the CDU city council group. He was also a member of the Mayen District Council from 1969 and, after the regional reform, a member of the Mayen-Koblenz District Council .

Lauer man was in the state election 1971 a list place in the constituency 2 in the Diet of Rheinland-Pfalz chosen, he initially belonged to the 1975th From July 21, 1975, when he replaced Willibald Hilf who left, until 1979 he was again a member of the state parliament. In parliament he was a member of the Social Policy Committee from 1971 to 1975 and a member of the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sport from 1975 to 1979.

Alfons Lauermann was married and had five children.
