Alfons Rosenberg
Alfons Rosenberg (born January 6, 1902 in Munich , † September 1, 1985 in Zurich ) was a German writer who mainly published on mysticism , symbol research and astrology .
Alfons Rosenberg is often confused - even in scientific publications - with the National Socialist ideologist Alfred Rosenberg , with whom he has nothing in common apart from the similarity of names.
Life
Alfons Rosenberg was born a Jew . From 1925 to 1935, his life began to change dramatically when he became a discoverer of nature on the island of Wörth . He concentrated on what was essential to him and became a seeker of God, a mystic .
When the National Socialists seized power and the persecution of the Jews began, he fled to Switzerland . There he converted to the Roman Catholic faith and acquired Swiss citizenship. He later became a champion of ecumenism , sketching the main features of the beginning Aquarian Age and writing books about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart . His book on Don Giovanni became a classic .
Although Rosenberg published many publications up until his death in 1985, little is known to the public about his personal life.
