Alfred Cerny

Alfred Cerny (born June 2, 1926 in Vienna ; † May 25, 2009 in Munich ) was an Austrian actor on stage as well as in film and television.

Live and act

After completing his acting training, Cerny made his debut in Graz . He then appeared at the Renaissance stage (Vienna's Löwinger stage ), the Vienna Volkstheater and the Stuttgart Comedy in the Marquardt . As a freelance artist he finally settled in Munich and was there for decades a member of the Bavarian State Theater under the direction of Kurt Meisels . In addition, Cerny was active in radio and worked as a voice actor . He has been in front of cameras since 1957 and mainly appeared in television games. There he played small roles throughout, often even nameless characters (first citizen, second journalist, third guest, fourth conspirator, etc.).
