Alfried Krupp sponsorship award for young university teachers
The Alfried Krupp Prize for Young University Teachers is since 1986 annually by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation to natural or engineering scientists awarded.
Individuals, scientific universities and research institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany are entitled to make suggestions for the prize. A personal application will not be recognized. Scientists who have taken on a professorship at a scientific university in Germany for the first time can be funded.
The prize is endowed with one million euros , spread over five years. The funds can be used for personnel costs for employees and scholarship holders, material and travel funds to support research work and for subject-related personal use.
