Ali-Rıza Yılmaz (born January 2, 1968 in Burdur ) is a former Turkish football player .
Career
Yılmaz played in his youth for SV Waldhof Mannheim and the Stuttgarter Kickers , where he made the leap to the amateurs of the Kickers . In the first team he was in the DFB Cup at the away game on August 29, 1986 at Tennis Borussia Berlin for the first time. The midfielder made his professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in a 6-1 away win at SC Fortuna Köln . However, there were no further appearances at the Kickers. Thus, the Turk returned to his home country for the 1987/88 season and was henceforth active for Denizlispor for three seasons. 1990 followed another three years with the Süper Lig Club Konyaspor . Two more seasons followed with league rivals Bursaspor . About the third division Zonguldak Kömürspor it led him to Antalyaspor in 1993 , where he was promoted to the Süper Lig. From 1998 to 2000 he wore the jersey of Yimpaş Yozgatspor before moving to Aksarayspor . In 2002 he ended his career as a footballer, but stayed with the club as a coach for two more years.
In 2010 Yılmaz was active again in Germany and coached the district league club FC Türkspor Mannheim in Mannheim . In 2014 he took over the post of sports director at his former club Antalyaspor .
