Ali Boussaboun (born June 18, 1982 in Tangier ) is a Moroccan football player . The striker has been under contract with the Dutch first division club NAC Breda since summer 2010 .

Career

society

In 1996 Boussaboun began his professional football career with the Dutch club ADO Den Haag in the Eerste Divisie . After he only made five appearances in his first year as a professional, the striker established himself the following year and scored his first league goal. With a total of eight hits, he was instrumental in a good fifth place. For the 2000/01 season, the team reached only 16th place in the second division. Boussabouns fifteen goals this season helped in the fight for relegation. This achievement did not go unnoticed by the Eredivisie clubs, so that he moved to FC Groningen at the end of the season . After only a year he turned his back on the club and signed on with league rivals NAC Breda . The striker stayed in Breda for three years. With fourth place in 2002/03 they achieved the best placement in the history of the Eredivisie. In the summer of 2005, the attacker moved to the top Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam . After he came to regular missions in the first year, the Feyenoord officials decided in the winter break 2006/07 to loan Boussabouns to FC Utrecht after the attacker could not prevail against Angelos Charisteas , Pierre van Hooijdonk and Stijn Huysegems . There was no return to Rotterdam and the striker went abroad to Al-Wakrah SC . But it didn't last long at the Qatar club and in summer 2008 he returned to the Netherlands, where he again transferred to FC Utrecht. At the FCU , the attacker came to regular missions. Nevertheless, the club bosses decided against any further employment of the striker. Boussaboun eventually moved to Al-Nasr Sports Club in Dubai . Again after a season he returned for the second time to the Eredivisie and again joined NAC Breda.

National team

Boussaboun is the current national player for Morocco . The player made his debut on March 26, 2005 in the qualifying game for the 2006 World Cup against Guinea. Coach Badou Ezaki Zaki changed him in the 65th minute for Mounir Diane . In 2006 Boussaboun was in the squad for the African Cup of Nations . There were three short appearances for his country in the three preliminary round matches. However, due to two draws and one defeat, the team retired early without a goal. Boussaboun made his Africa Cup debut on January 21, 2006 against Ivory Coast when he came on for Houssine Kharja in the 83rd minute .
