Aline Abboud

Aline Abboud (born January 23, 1988 in East Berlin ) is a German journalist , television presenter and editor at ZDF .

Live and act

Aline Abboud grew up in Berlin-Pankow as the daughter of a German and a Lebanese . In 2007 she passed her Abitur at the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium . From 2007 to 2013 she studied Arabic at the University of Leipzig . During her studies, she completed internships with national and international print media, radio and television stations. After an internship at the German Bundestag, she was employed by ZDF in 2016, initially as a social media editor and editorial assistant for the program ZDFdonnerstalk with Dunja Hayali in Berlin. In October 2016 she moved to today's newsroom in Mainz . There she works as editor and presenter for today Xpress . She also moderates #Diedaoben from funk together with Jan Schipmann . Her social engagements include the dialogue project "Meet me!" by Tagesschau spokesman Constantin Schreiber , together with television journalists Susanne Daubner and Damla Hekimoğlu .
