Alyaksandr Fjadotkin

Alyaksandr Fjadotkin ( Belarusian Аляксандр Фядоткін , Eng. Transcription Alyaksandr Fyadotkin, also Russian Александр Федоткин - Alexandr Fedotkin - Aleksandr Fedotkin; * 3. November 1955 in Shatsk , Russia ) is a former White Russian long-distance runners , who for the Soviet Union started.

At the World Cross Country Championships in 1977 in Düsseldorf, he came in 92nd place.

In 1978 a 25th place at the Cross Country World Championships in Glasgow was followed by a bronze medal over 5000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Prague.

In 1979 he won bronze over 3000 m at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Vienna . At the Cross Country World Championships in Limerick , he finished 48th and won bronze with the Soviet team. At the European Athletics Cup in Turin , he was second over 5000 m .

At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow eighth over 5000 m and at the European Indoor Championships 1982 in Milan eleventh over 3000 m.

In 1978 he was Soviet champion over 5000 m and in 1979 Soviet indoor champion over 3000 m.
