Aljosha Horvat

Aljosha Horvat (born May 23, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Horvat was born in Berlin and grew up in Düsseldorf, Essen and Hamburg. Horvat developed a stutter when he was five and received speech therapy. He received his acting training from 2011 to 2013 at the William Esper Studio in New York under the direction of William Esper. Horvat lives in Berlin and New York.

Career

Aljosha Horvat was cast at the age of 15 by the director Martin Theo Krieger in the film Beautiful Bitch (2007). He played the role of Constantin Mitulescu. The film is about a group of young people from Romania who work as pickpockets in Düsseldorf. This was followed by film roles in At sixteen I'm gone , everything stays in the family and in silence.

Horvat has been involved in television productions since 2008, including a. the TV film A Village is Silent and series such as Bella Block , SOKO Donau , Notruf Hafenkante and Der Landarzt . In Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei he played a fatally ill heart patient in the episode "Leben und Leben Lassen". In SOKO Kitzbühel he embodied the title character of Nono Petrick in the episode “A boy named Nono”, who is accused of murder and cannot comment on it due to a language problem. In SOKO Leipzig , Horvat played the main episode role of a young teenager who committed a jealous murder in the episode "Swinging Leipzig". In 2017 Horvat appeared in the American animation series Super Wings .
