Allegra Rose Edwards is an American actress .

Life

Allegra Edwards grew up in Denver , Colorado with two siblings. She graduated from Pepperdine University , where she earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 . She received her acting training at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco , from which she graduated in 2013 as a Master of Fine Arts (MFA).

2014 she played at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise , Idaho in Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, the role of Shelby. After moving to New York City , she appeared in the 2015 off-Broadway production Everything You Touch .

This was followed by episode roles in series such as Modern Family and New Girl (2016) as well as The Mindy Project , Friends from College , The Last Tycoon and Orange Is the New Black (2017). Also in 2017 she was seen in the comedy film Sandy Wexler with Adam Sandler in the title role as Mary, in the German version she was dubbed by Wanda Worch . In The Social Ones (2019) by Laura Kosann, she embodied the role of Mika Brioni-Shaw.

In the series Briar Patch of USA Network with Rosario Dawson based on the template of Ross Thomas had 2019/20 a recurring role as Cindy McCabe. Since 2020 she has played the role of Ingrid Kannerman, the girlfriend of Nathan Brown, played by Robbie Amell in the Prime Video science fiction comedy series Upload .

She has been engaged to actor Clayton Snyder since 2019.
