All Saints' Day (Unterröppisch)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of All Saints is on the southern outskirts in Weidaer Straße in Unterröppisch , a location in the Röppisch district of the city of Gera in Thuringia . The church is a listed building . It belongs to the parish Röppisch in the parish area Gera Lusan in the parish of Gera the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

Originally the Romanesque hall church with retracted, transverse choir and apse was built in the 13th century. The building in its current form dates from the 17th / 18th centuries. Century. During renovations , the choir tower was added and the apse was demolished. The top, square, drawn-in storey of the tower is made of slated timber . On top of it is a slate pyramid roof with dormer windows , in whose belfry the bell from 1475 hangs. In 1893 the church was extensively redesigned in the Romanesque style and the church furnishings were renewed. In the 1990s the church was restored and the work was completed in 1993. The organ with five registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built in 1890 by the organ builder of the Prussian court Carl-Friedrich Zillgitt from Gera.
