Allison Blair Jolly (born August 4, 1956 in Saint Petersburg ) is a former American sailor .
successes
Allison Jolly took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul in the 470 dinghy . Together with Lynne Jewell, she scored a total of 26.7 points, taking first place ahead of the Swedish and Soviet boats, which made the two Olympic champions . In the seven races of the regatta they placed five times on the podium, two of them in first place.
Jolly studied at Florida State University and worked as a programmer after graduation. Her future husband, Mark Elliot, was also a sailor and programmer. From 2004 she also worked as a sailing trainer at the University of South Florida .
