Lynne M. Jewell (born November 26, 1959 in Burbank ) is a former American sailor .

successes

Lynne Jewell was first in the class of boat Laser Radial active, in which it in 1980 Kingston , 1983 in Gulfport and 1985 in Halmstad each Vice World Champion was. She then switched to the 470 dinghy and took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul . Together with Allison Jolly, she scored a total of 26.7 points, taking first place in front of the Swedish and Soviet boats, which made the two Olympic champions . Jolly graduated from Boston University in 1981 . In the meantime she was married to Bill Shore, but the couple separated again.
