This means that the tectonic structures in the Northern Limestone Alps usually tend to run in an east-west direction here in a north-south direction. The area east of the summit and the ridge area are mainly made up of the main dolomite of the Lunzer ceiling . On the eastern flank there are some demolition edges and mud bodies . The border to the Frankenfelser blanket runs parallel to the summit ridge a few hundred meters to the west , in the area of which there are rocks from the chalk to the Triassic .
