Aloísio Sinésio Bohn (born September 11, 1934 in Montenegro ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic former bishop of Santa Cruz do Sul .

Life

Aloísio Sinésio Bohn was ordained a priest on December 23, 1961 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 27, 1977 auxiliary bishop in Brasília and titular bishop of Abbir Germaniciana . The Archbishop of Porto Alegre , Cardinal Alfredo Vicente Scherer , donated him episcopal ordination on September 9 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Newton de Almeida Baptista , Archbishop of Brasília, and Geraldo do Espírito Santo Ávila , Auxiliary Bishop of Brasília.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on February 13, 1980 as the first bishop of the diocese of Novo Hamburgo, which had been established a few days earlier . On June 27, 1986, he was appointed bishop of Santa Cruz do Sul . On May 19, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
