Aloe charlotteae is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet charlotteae honors Charlotte Castillon, a granddaughter of the first person to describe the species Jean-Bernard Castillon .

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe charlotteae grows trunk-forming and individually. The upright or prostrate trunks reach a length of 30 to 70 centimeters and are 3 to 8 centimeters thick. The 15 to 40 ascending to upright, triangular-pointed leaves form rosettes . The glaucous green, reddish tinged leaf blade is 30 to 50 centimeters long and 5 to 10 centimeters wide. The teeth on the edge of the leaf are 2 millimeters long and 7 to 10 millimeters apart.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence consists of two to five branches and reaches a length of 70 to 110 centimeters. The grapes are 10 to 17 inches long. The triangular bracts have a length of 3 millimeters and are 6 millimeters wide. The slightly bell-shaped, yellow flowers are on 45 millimeter long peduncles . The flowers are 40 millimeters long. Your outer tepals are almost not fused together. The stamens and the style protrude up to 2 millimeters from the flower.
Systematics and distribution
Aloe charlotteae is widespread on granite in Madagascar in the Andringitra Mountains .
The first description by Jean-Bernard Castillon was published in 2006.
