Aloe guerrae is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla plants (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet guerrae honors Guilherme Guerra, Director of Agriculture and Forestry in Angola.

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe guerrae grows easily and is stemless or short stem-forming. The approximately 24 lanceolate, narrowed leaves form dense rosettes , which are usually inclined to one side. The cloudy green, indistinctly lined leaf blade is 40 centimeters long and 6 to 7 centimeters wide. The piercing, light brown to reddish brown teeth on the leaf margin are 4 to 5 millimeters long and 10 to 15 millimeters apart. The leaf sap is dry yellow.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence consists of eight to ten branches and reaches a length of 90 to 100 centimeters. The lower branches are occasionally branched again. The rather dense, crooked to almost horizontal grapes are 20 centimeters long. They consist of single-sided flowers. The egg-shaped, pointed bracts are 6 to 8 millimeters long and 4 millimeters wide. The scarlet, frosted flowers stand on 5 millimeter long flower stalks . The flowers are 40 millimeters long and truncated at their base. At the level of the ovary , the flowers have a diameter of 8 millimeters. They are hardly narrowed beyond that. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 10 to 12 millimeters. The stamens protrude 2 millimeters and the stylus protrudes 3 millimeters from the flower.

Systematics and distribution
Aloe guerrae is common in Angola on grasslands with scattered bushes at altitudes of 1200 to 1600 meters.
