Aloe mayottensis is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet mayottensis refers to the occurrence of the species on the island of Mayotte .

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe mayottensis grows trunk-forming and branches out from the base and above. The trunks reach a length of 50 centimeters and are 3 to 4 centimeters thick. The approximately 20 lanceolate, narrowed leaves form a rosette . The green leaf blade is 40 to 50 inches long and 6 to 7 inches wide. The light yellow to light brown teeth on the leaf margin are 3 millimeters long and 10 to 15 millimeters apart.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence has three to four branches and reaches a length of about 100 centimeters. The rather dense, cylindrically pointed grapes are up to 20 centimeters long and 6 centimeters wide. The egg-shaped-pointed bracts have a length of 6 millimeters and are 4 millimeters wide. The flowers are on approximately 6 millimeter long peduncles . They are 25 millimeters long and briefly narrowed at their base. At the level of the ovary , the flowers have a diameter of 8 millimeters. They are very slightly narrowed above this. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 14 millimeters. The stamens and the pen stand 2 to 4 millimeters out from the flower.
Systematics and distribution
Aloe mayottensis is common in the Comoros in the shade of hills.
