Aloe molederana is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae). Thespecific epithet molederana refers to the occurrence of the species on Moledera Hill in Somalia.

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe molederana grows stemless or short stem-forming, is simple or forms small groups. The 12 to 16 sickle-shaped leaves form a rosette . The glauke leaf blade is 25 to 40 inches long and 5.5 to 9.5 inches wide. The leaf surface is smooth. Teeth on the leaf margin are not developed or they are tiny and only sparsely present. The leaf juice is golden yellow.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence has up to four branches and reaches a length of 40 to 70 centimeters. The loose, almost cylindrical grapes are up to 16 centimeters long. The egg-shaped or deltoid, pointed bracts have a length of 7 to 8 millimeters and are 3 to 4 millimeters wide. The pink, felty flowers are on 6 to 9 millimeter long peduncles . They are 24 to 28 millimeters long and rounded at their base. At the level of the ovary , the flowers have a diameter of 7 to 8 millimeters. They are slightly narrowed above this. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 9 millimeters. The stamens and the pen stand out 3 to 5 millimeters from the flower.

Aloe molederana is common on limestone and gypsum deposits in Somalia .
