The old district court in Weißenburg in Bavaria is a neo-renaissance building with the address Bahnhofstrasse 2. Today's district court building of the city is located in Niederhofener Strasse. The building is registered under the monument number D-5-77-177-106 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list.

From 1902 to 1904, the building was built by the Eichstätt Royal Agriculture Authority as the city's first representative Bavarian building. Before that, the Zehentstadel , built in the 16th century, was located here , and in the 19th century there was a prison . From 1932 to 1933 a total of 56 municipalities were added to the jurisdiction of the local court . In April 1945 the court was closed by the Allies and reopened in August of the same year. With the entry into force of the Rechtspflegergesetz the Weissenburg District Court received the foreclosure and compulsory administrative court as well as the bankruptcy court. In 1962 the courthouse was renovated. As a result of the regional reform in Bavaria, the Weißenburg district court has been subordinate to the Ansbach district court since 1973 . The current main building of the district court was built in 1975.

The old district court is a two-storey hipped roof building with a risalit , corner blocks and an ornamental gable . The enclosure dates from the time it was built.
