The building is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Altetopfstraße 18 to the west. It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a community courtyard and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built around 1760 in the late baroque style . The building is covered with a mansard roof . The structure of the six-axis facade is symmetrical.
The large courtyard has elongated farm buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, which were also built in half-timbered construction. On the north side of the courtyard, facing Wallstrasse , there is a representative gate system, the posts made of sandstone are decorated in neo-Gothic style.
