Altweitra is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Unserfrau-Altweitra in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 86 building areas with 39,533 m² and 64 gardens on 33,715 m² in the cadastral community Altweitra, in 1989/1990 there were 85 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 234 and in 2009/2010 there were 207 buildings on 345 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 557 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 212 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 518 hectares and 239 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 503 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 239 hectares. The average soil climate of Altweitra is 24.4 (as of 2010).
