Alvah T. Meyer (born July 18, 1888 in New York City , † December 19, 1939 in Tucson , Arizona ) was an American athlete who was successful in the sprint during the First World War .

There were also two victories at the Canadian Open Championships in 1911 and 1912 (100 yards in 10.0 s each).

Alvah Meyer took part in the 5th Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912 and won the silver medal over 100 meters in 10.9 s ahead of Donald Lippincott at the same time (time of the winner Ralph Craig : 10.8 s).
