The Amadea (former project name Mistral ) is a mega yacht built at the Lürssen-Kröger shipyard in Rendsburg .

history

The keel of the ship was laid on August 12, 2013, and the ship was launched on July 19, 2014. From April 2016 test drives were carried out in the Kiel Fjord . It was completed on August 29, 2016.

Technical data and equipment

The yacht is driven by two dual-fuel diesel engines from the manufacturer MTU Friedrichshafen (type: 20V 4000M93L), which act on two variable-pitch propellers via gears . Three MTU diesel generators (type: 12V 2000M41A) and an emergency generator from Detroit Diesel (type: S60) are available for the power supply. The hull is made of steel , the superstructure of aluminum . The design comes from Espen Øino . The Amadea is luxuriously equipped with a beauty salon, a cinema , a wellness area, swimming pool , water sports garage and underwater illumination.

The Amadea was the largest motor yacht of Schleswig-Holstein shipyard as of June 2016th Due to its length of more than 106 meters, it ranks 30th in the list of the longest motor yachts (as of May 2019). The owner is currently unknown.
