The Ambassador Theater Group (ATG) is a British theater operator and owner, and producer of plays and musicals . The company is based in Woking , Surrey. Ambassador was founded in 1979 by Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire . Providence Equity Partners has been the main partner since 2014 .
Activity as a producer
Among other things, the company is responsible for the productions of the musicals Naturally Blond , Ghost - The Musical and Monty Python's Spamalot in London and as tour productions in the United Kingdom . ATG also produces and markets The Rocky Horror Show worldwide . Ambassador is also active internationally on Broadway in New York and in Australia . In connection with theater production, the Ambassador Theater Group operates its own ticket distribution system under the brand atgtickets.com .
