Amelia Pietrangelo (born July 14, 1993 in Laval , Québec , Canada ) is a Canadian soccer player .

Career

societies

Pietrangelo played during her studies at Rutgers University for the team of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as well as for the W-League participant Laval Comets . After the 2015 season, she ended her season with indoor soccer and scored 18 goals in nine Quebec Super League games for Tough Mothers . On January 6, 2016, she moved to Switzerland for FC Neunkirch , where her compatriot Alyssa Lagonia is team captain . On June 26, 2017, she signed in the Allianz Women's Bundesliga with FF USV Jena , where she is the third Canadian after Tiffany Cameron and Shannon Woeller .

National team

She made her debut on December 9, 2010 against the Netherlands in the Canadian senior team and took part with this victoriously in the Pan American Games the following year . In March 2012, Pietrangelo was part of the Canadian U-20 selection at the CONCACAF U-20 championship and was there in four games.
