Amelie Klever (born June 26, 1994 in Hilden , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German model and was one of the youngest finalists in the casting show Germany’s Next Top Model in 2011 .

biography

Amelie Klever was born on June 26, 1994 as the daughter of Gerd and Beate Klever in Hilden. After attending the Wilhelm Busch School, she attended the Archbishop's Theresa School in Hilden and, after graduating in 2010 , switched to the Hilden vocational college of the Mettmann district . From September 2011 she attended the Lessing-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf , a sports high school , and passed her Abitur there in April 2014.

In 2011 Klever took part in the 6th season of the casting show Germany's Next Topmodel (GNTM) and achieved greater media presence. As part of the show, she was booked as a model for the Garnier -Fructis series and the jeans brand Blessed & Cursed . She also became the face of an international advertising campaign for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro mobile phone . In the final she took third place behind Jana Beller and Rebecca Mir . After her time at GNTM, Klever ran for designer Philipp Plein at the Milan Fashion Week and was active as a model in various editorials and beauty series for the German Elle and the German Cosmopolitan .

In January 2012, Klever ran for the designer of the Swedish royal family Lars Wallin, Thomas Rath and Minx as part of the Berlin Fashion Week . Klever is under contract with the Two Flies Management agency.

Klever worked together with the GNTM candidate Louisa Mazzurana in the DKMS moves the world initiative to draw attention to the German bone marrow donor database.

As part of the “IndepenDance” group, Klever dances jazz and modern dance in the Regionalliga West at TuS Hilden. In the club she also trains the group “Jazz'n Action” from the children's league.
