Amon (Judah)

Amon ( Heb. אמון) became King of Judah at the age of 22 as the son and successor of Manasseh . His reign probably lasted from 642 to 640 BC. And was Chr. 2 Chr 33.21 to 25  EU and 2 Kings 21.19 to 26  EU according to the departure of the king from faith in God embossed, he practiced as his father Manasseh idolatry. The murder of Amon by his court officials was therefore seen in retrospect as a godly punishment, even though the king's murderers were lynched by the people shortly after their act . Amon's successor was his still underage son Joschija .
