Office Lübbenow (Uckermark)

The Office Lübbenow / Uckermark later Office Lübbenow (Uckermark) written was an educated system in 1992, still in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Office , which by treaty to 1 July 1992 for Brandenburg was reclassified. In it, eleven communities in the then Strasburg and Pasewalk ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) districts had come together to form an administrative association. The official seat was in the municipality of Lübbenow . With the merger of the eleven participating municipalities to form the new municipality of Uckerland , the office was dissolved again at the end of 2001.

The Office Lübbenow (Uckermark) bordered to the northwest, north and northeast of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, on the southeast by the Office Brüssow (Uckermark) , on the south by the Office Prenzlau country and on the southwest by the Office Nordwestuckermark .

The contract for the formation of the Lübbenow Office became legally effective on June 1, 1992. At that time it still belonged to the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The state treaty with which the state of Brandenburg came into force came into force on July 1, 1992. The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg then gave his consent to the formation of the Lübbenow / Uckermark office on August 1, 1992. August 1, 1992 was set as the date on which the office was established. The office was based in the municipality of Lübbenow and consisted of eleven municipalities in what was then the district of Strasburg (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) and the municipality of Nechlin in what was then the district of Pasewalk (also Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania):

In 2001 the eleven communities merged to form the new community of Uckerland. The merger was approved by the Ministry of the Interior with effect from December 31, 2001. The office of Lübbenow / Uckermark was dissolved and the municipality of Uckerland was made vacant.

Office Director

The first and only female director of the Lübbenow (Uckermark) office was Monika Becker. After the office was dissolved, she was elected mayor of the new municipality of Uckerland.
