The Müncheberg Office was an office established in Brandenburg in 1992 , in which six communities in the former Seelow and Strausberg districts had initially merged to form an administrative community. The official seat was the city of Müncheberg . The Müncheberg office was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Müncheberg office bordered the Märkische Schweiz and Neuhardenberg offices in the north, the Seelow-Land office in the east, the Steinhöfel / Heinersdorf office in the south, the Grünheide (Mark) office in the southwest and the Märkische Schweiz office in the west.

history

On July 13, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the establishment of the Müncheberg Office. July 16, 1992 was set as the date on which the office was established. The office had its seat in the city of Müncheberg and consisted of six communities in the former districts of Seelow and Strausberg (in the order in which they were named in the official gazette):

  1. Trebnitz
  2. Jahnsfelde
  3. Hermersdorf / Obersdorf
  4. Eggersdorf near Müncheberg
  5. Hoppegarten near Müncheberg
  6. City of Müncheberg

On March 31, 2002, the communities Eggersdorf / Mü., Hermersdorf / Obersdorf, Hoppegarten / Mü., Jahnsfelde, Trebnitz and the city of Müncheberg merged to form the new city of Müncheberg. The Müncheberg office was dissolved on the same day and the city of Müncheberg was vacant.

Office Director

The official director was Klaus Zehm, who later became mayor of the city of Müncheberg.
