In the Plön-Land office , based in Plön , eleven municipalities were brought together to handle their administrative business. The office was in the heart of the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein ( Germany ) and bordered on the Lütjenburg-Land office in the north, the Preetz-Land office in the west, the Bokhorst-Wankendorf office in the south and the Segeberg district in the east to the Ostholstein district with its municipality of Bosau and the district town of Plön. The office had about 9500 inhabitants on an area of ​​around 165 km².

history

The Office Plön-Land was founded on June 1st, 1970 . It summarized the previous offices of Ascheberg, with the communities of Dersau, Dörnick, Nehmten and Kalübbe, and Plön-Land, with the communities of Bösdorf, Grebin, Schönweide, Lebrade, Rantzau, Rathjensdorf and Wittmoldt. On January 1, 2007, the office took on the municipality of Bosau from the neighboring district of Ostholstein and changed its name to the Great Plöner See office .
