The Great Plöner See office is a cross-district office in Schleswig-Holstein . In addition to nine communities from the Plön district , the office also includes the Bosau community from the Ostholstein district . The official seat is in Plön and the municipal law supervision of the office is carried out by the district of Plön.

history

The office was formed on January 1, 2007 from the municipalities of the previous office of Plön-Land and the previously unofficial municipality of Bosau and originally also included the municipalities of Ascheberg (Holstein) and Bösdorf .

On January 1, 2014, Ascheberg (Holstein) and Bösdorf were spun off from office and have been administered by the city of Plön ever since.
