Aalen District Court

The Aalen District Court is one of 108 district courts in Baden-Württemberg . It is a court of ordinary jurisdiction .

The municipalities of Aalen , Abtsgmünd , Essingen , Hüttlingen and Oberkochen belong to the judicial district .

Courthouse

The building is located at Stuttgarter Straße 9 in Aalen.

Responsibility and duties

The district court is the first instance civil , family and criminal court . The register of associations and property law is also kept at the local court. As an enforcement court, it is responsible for all enforcement matters in which the debtor is domiciled in the judicial district.

The following activities fall within the jurisdiction of the district court: civil matters, family matters, criminal matters, fine proceedings, support, bailiffs, court paying agents, deposits, insolvencies, agricultural matters, dunning procedures, legal petitions, register matters, list of debtors, accommodation, disappearance matters, guardianship matters, property enforcement and, foreclosure. In addition, five bailiffs belong to the district court.

Superior courts

The district court of Ellwangen , the higher regional court of Stuttgart and the federal court of justice are superordinate to the district court of Aalen .
