Bocholt District Court

Bocholt is the seat of the Bocholt District Court , which is responsible for the cities of Bocholt, Isselburg and Rhede in the south-western district of Borken . Around 104,000 people live in the 241 km² judicial district .

It is located in the justice center, where the public prosecutor's office and the external criminal chamber of the Münster district court are also located. With the construction of the justice center in 2005, the Bocholt court location was strengthened and a further withdrawal by the judicial authorities was thwarted. With currently eight professional judges, it is the largest district court in Westmünsterland.

Superior courts

The regional court overriding the court is the regional court of Münster , which in turn is subordinate to the higher regional court of Hamm .
