Borken District Court

Borken is the seat of the Borken District Court , which is responsible for the cities of Borken, Gescher and Velen as well as for the communities of Heiden , Raesfeld , Reken and Südlohn in the Borken district. Around 114,000 people live in the 538 km² judicial district . In addition, the district court of Borken is responsible for agricultural matters in the districts of Bocholt and Borken.

Superior courts

The regional court overriding the Borken district court is the Münster regional court , which in turn is subordinate to the Hamm Higher Regional Court .
