Ahlen is the seat of the Ahlen District Court , which is responsible for the cities of Ahlen, Drensteinfurt and Sendenhorst in the southern district of Warendorf . Around 83,000 people live in the 326 km² judicial district .

Superior courts

The regional court above the Ahlen district court is the Münster regional court , which in turn is subordinate to the Hamm Higher Regional Court .
