The district court of Einbeck is one of seven district courts in the regional court district of Göttingen . It is based in Einbeck .

Responsibilities

The district court of Einbeck is responsible for the cities of Einbeck and Dassel and thus has around 41,500 court residents .

The superordinate court is the Göttingen Regional Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Braunschweig . The Göttingen District Court is responsible for insolvency proceedings and the register of trade and associations . The Hanover District Court has taken over the partnership register .

building

The courthouse has been on Hullerser Strasse since it was founded. With the neighboring building to the west, it forms a building complex in which a department of the Rosdorf correctional facility is housed.

history

It was founded on October 1, 1852 in the course of the change in the administrative structure of Landdrostei Hildesheim , an administrative district of the Kingdom of Hanover . It was subordinate to the Göttingen Higher Court .

In 1859, due to the dissolution of the Erichsburg office, jurisdiction was taken over by the Dassel District Court , which was formed by the ordinance of August 7, 1852.

With the incorporation of the municipality Kreiensen in the city of Einbeck 1 January 2013 the jurisdiction of this area was from the District Court of Bad Gandersheim taken and thus also switched from Braunschweig Regional Court to District Court Göttingen .
