Freising District Court

The Freising District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of 73 local courts in Bavaria and one of five local courts in the Landshut district . The seat of the court is at Domberg 20 in Freising .

The Freising District Court is responsible for the area of the Freising district with the exception of Munich Airport . The Erding District Court is responsible for the area of ​​Munich Airport .

Christian Seiler is the director of the local court. The managing director is Gerhard Gallecker.

Former seat of the local court

Until 1989, the district court had its seat in a building in the Amtsgerichtsgasse . The building is a two-storey hipped roof building with a rich late classical structure. Right next to the building built around 1880/90 is the Amsgerichtsgarten, a small park. Today parts of the city administration are located there. In 1989, together with the land surveying office, the district court moved into several buildings on the Domberg that were renovated for this purpose (Domberg 20, formerly domkapitelisches Syndikatshaus; Domberg 22/24, former Domdechantei)
