The District Court of Moosburg was a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Moosburg an der Isar . It existed from 1879 to 1973, was then converted into a branch office of the Freising District Court and dissolved in 2007.

history

The district court of Moosburg (also known as the nursing court ) is mentioned for the first time as early as 1329 . In 1803, as part of administrative reforms in Bavaria, the regional courts were reorganized. The Moosburg Regional Court was retained and was assigned to the Isar District in 1808 , which was named Upper Bavaria in 1837 . On July 11, 1841, the tax districts Güntersdorf, Sünzhausen and Schweitenkirchen were assigned to the Pfaffenhofen Regional Court . On August 8, 1857, 15 northern parishes were submitted to the Mainburg district courtassigned. The regional courts in the Kingdom of Bavaria as judicial and administrative authorities were absorbed into the district offices in administrative terms in 1862. The remainder of the administrative responsibilities of the Moosburg Regional Court went to the Freising District Office . The remaining judicial institutions in Moosburg initially retained the name of the regional court. As the initial instance of the lower jurisdiction, the previous regional courts were renamed uniformly in 1879 by the Courts Constitution Act in the district court , including Moosburg. The Moosburg District Court was converted into a branch of the Freising District Court in 1973 and finally dissolved in 2007.

Building history

The listed building is a free-standing three-storey wing with a steep pitched roof from the end of the 19th century, on the structural basis of the Castle of the Counts of Moosburg, first mentioned in 1207, then called Castle Thurn in 1551 . Today the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forests Erding, Moosburg branch, is located here .
