District court Neumarkt-Sankt Veit

The District Court of Neumarkt-Sankt Veit (until 1934 District Court of Neumarkt an der Rott ) was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1970 and was based in the city of Neumarkt-Sankt Veit .

With the entry into force of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Neumarkt an der Rott was set up, its district consisting of the former district court district Neumarkt an der Rott with the former municipalities Aspertsham , Buchbach , Egglkofen , Elsenbach , Feichten , Gumattenkirchen , Harpolden , Hörbering , Irl , Lohkirchen , Neumarkt an der Rott, Niederbergkirchen , Niedertaufkirchen , Oberbergkirchen , Oberhofen , Ranoldsberg , Roßbach , Salmannskirchen , Schönberg , Stefanskirchen , Sankt Veit , Tegernbach , Thambach , Walkersaich , Weilkirchen , Wiesbach , Wolfsberg and Zangberg . The superordinate instances were the Landshut Regional Court and the Munich Higher Regional Court .

By merging the city of Neumarkt an der Rott with the community of Wolfsberg-Sankt Veit, which was formed in 1920, the city of Neumarkt-Sankt-Veit was created on April 1, 1934. The court located there was renamed the Neumarkt-Sankt Veit District Court.

On January 1, 1970, the Neumarkt-Sankt Veit District Court was dissolved, the district of which has now been assigned to the Mühldorf am Inn District Court .

Courthouse

The former district court is located at Bahnhofstrasse 21 in a two-story clinker brick building with a hipped roof , a flat central risalit , corner rustics and cornice structure , completed in 1879 . The building is a listed building .
