Lohkirchen is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn and a member of the Oberbergkirchen administrative community .

Geographical location
Lohkirchen is located in the Southeast Upper Bavaria region in the Alpine foothills around 14 km north of Waldkraiburg , eight kilometers south of Neumarkt-Sankt Veit and twelve kilometers from the district town of Mühldorf . It is eight kilometers to the Mühldorf-West junction of the A 94 , and the two closest train stations in the Südostbayernbahn network are Ampfing and Neumarkt-Sankt Veit (eight kilometers away).

In 1998 there were no employees subject to social insurance contributions in the field of agriculture and forestry, in the manufacturing sector, or in the field of trade and transport. In other economic areas, 26 people were employed at the place of work subject to social security contributions.
