He belonged to the Landshut Rent Office of the Duchy of Bavaria . The ducal nursing court (also known as the regional court ) existed until the beginning of the 19th century.

In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the regional courts of the older order emerged from 1803 , so Neumarkt was finally assigned to the regional court Mühldorf in 1810 .

In 1862, with the separation of administrative and legal tasks in Bavaria, it became part of the Mühldorf am Inn district office .

The remaining judicial institutions in Mainburg initially retained the designation of the regional court. As the initial instance of the lower jurisdiction, the previous regional courts were converted into local courts uniformly in 1879 by the Courts Constitution Act . At the same time, the court moved to a newly built building at Bahnhofstrasse 21. The district court was renamed Neumarkt-Sankt Veit District Court in 1934 and existed until 1973.
