The Gelnhausen District Court (AG Gelnhausen) is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Gelnhausen in the Main-Kinzig district .

The seat of the court is in Gelnhausen at Philipp-Reis-Straße 9. The judicial district of the Gelnhausen District Court includes the cities and communities Bad Orb , Biebergemünd , Birstein , Brachttal , Flörsbachtal , Freigericht , Gelnhausen , Gründau , Guts Bezirk Spessart , Hasselroth , Jossgrund , Linsengericht and Wächtersbach (each including all city and districts) and, since the closure of the Schlüchtern District Court on December 31, 2011, the cities and communities of Schlüchtern, Sinntal, Bad Soden-Salmünster and Steinau an der Strasse (each including all city and districts ). All are in the Main-Kinzig district .

Superior courts

The district court of Hanau is of the closest instance . The Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main and the Federal Court of Justice follow in the next instance .
