Amy Roberts (born December 24, 1994 in Llanelli ) is a British cyclist who is active on track and road .

Athletic career

2012 was a successful year for Amy Roberts: At the Junior World Championships she won two bronze medals, in the points race and with Elinor Barker and Hayley Jones in the team pursuit . Together with Lucy Garner and Elinor Barker, she became the European Junior Champion in the team pursuit.

From 2014 Roberts started in the elite class and won the track cycling World Cup in Guadalajara together with Laura Trott , Elinor Barker , Ciara Horne and Katie Archibald . In the same year, she went to the Commonwealth Games in four track cycling disciplines and in road races to the start.

For the 2018 season Roberts switched to the Dutch team Parkhotel Valkenburg – Destil , but was released in February due to a chronic fatigue syndrome . She did not contest any races all year.
