Anamaria Ioniță (born July 7, 1988 in Brăila ) is a Romanian athlete who specializes in the 400 meter and the 400 meter hurdles.

Athletic career

In 2009 Ioniță was part of the Romanian relay that won gold medals at the European Team Championship . She represented Romania at the 2010 European Championships , where she helped her team to eighth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

In 2015 she was eliminated from the relay in the preliminary round at the World Championships in Beijing . In 2016 she helped the Romanian relay reach the final at the European Championships in Amsterdam . She also qualified for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . There, however, the runners were eliminated in the preliminary round .
