Anastasia Igorevna Tokarewa (born Kuznetsova , Russian Анастасия Игоревна Токарева , born Кузнецова , scientific. Transliteration Anastasia Igorevna Tokareva born Kuznecova * 31 December 1986 in Weimar ) is a Russian biathlete .

Anastassija Tokarewa made her international debut at the Junior European Championships 2005 in Novosibirsk , where she was fifth in the individual and won the gold medal with the Russian relay. Shortly afterwards she started successfully at the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti . In the sprint as well as in the relay she won bronze medals in Finland, in the pursuit she narrowly missed another medal in fourth place. For the 2005/06 season Kuznetsova also began to run in the Junior European Cup and achieved multiple top ten results. The 2006 European Junior Championship in Langdorf was not very successful . She continued to run in the European Junior Cup until 2007, and her best results were fourth.

Since the 2007/08 season Tokarewa has been competing in the European Biathlon Cup . She ran her first race in Obertilliach and was 17th in the individual there. She successfully took part in the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne . She won bronze medals in both the sprint and pursuit competitions on roller skis . The next major event for the Russian was the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In the sprint she won the bronze medal, silver with the relay and in the pursuit she was tenth. In the first individual race of the Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk , the sprint, she was surprisingly used instead of the more experienced Svetlana Slepzowa and thus came to her first World Championship and World Cup competition, which she finished in 47th place.
