Anders Huss (born April 6, 1964 in Sollefteå ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player and coach . His son Viktor Huss is also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Anders Huss began his career as a hockey player at Brynäs IF , for whose professional team he was active from 1983 to 1995 in the Elitserien , the highest Swedish league. With Brynäs, the winger won the Swedish championship for the first time in the 1992/93 season . For the 1995/96 season he joined the Timrå IK from Division 1 , which was then still second class , but then returned to Brynäs IF. With Brynäs he was again Swedish champion in the 1998/99 season . Following this success, he moved one more time to Timrå IK, with whom he immediately succeeded in advancing from the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan to the Elitserien in the 1999/2000 season . After the 2000/01 season he ended his active career at the age of 37.

In the 2003/04 season , Huss was the assistant coach of his ex-club Timrå IK in the Elitserien.

International

For Sweden , Huss took part in the junior division only in the U20 World Junior Championship in 1984 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 1990 and 1992 World Championships . At the 1990 World Cup he and his team won the silver medal and the gold medal at the 1992 World Cup.
